Compelled to craft: Zan!!!

I'm just heading out to pick up Zan from the airport, coming to spend Christmas here from Belize. This is the first Christmas in three years that Zan will be home and I can hardly stand the excitement!

dye some of the ikea 100% cotton knit hot pads--I think they would look beautiful. i want to try natural dyes--beets? purple onions?
big, brightly colored pillows/bean bag chairs for the hidey hole in the new house--perfect for all of my wished-for grandkids :)
